The afternoon ends at GCARD, and we all giggle before heading home

Sewing class in the office of Silai Center: Some local girls learn pattern making and sewing as Getha, Urmila and I lay out the embroidery for one of our samples. Most of the girls are working on garments for themselves, sari blouses, and salwar suits.
Yesterday Urmila, Mahadev and I laid out the design for our special edition Kurta for the Yoga Crib. All smiles at our most popular phrase-‘Tik-Hai’ (okay) The sample will be ready on Monday!
Bubblee and Sita in Gulabi-Rose. Bubblee is my good friend from my stays at the Rural Center, and Sita is a new face at the center. She shyly smiles, and works intently on a turquoise crocheted piece, in between giggles with friends.
Gifted to GCARD by the LuckyUschi project, this sewing machine is put to good use sewing up embroidered shopping bags which will be sold at the Rajghat school.
